The brand new iconic museum showcases over a thousand artefacts representing Sarawak’s amazing culture and history. It is also the largest museum in Malaysia and the second largest in Southeast Asia with an exhibition space of more than 6,000 square meters with a total floor area of approximately 31,000 square meters.
For everyone’s knowledge, only 500 people are limited in the building at any one time. This is important to maintain SOP and the safety of all visitors. Open every day, visits to BCM are divided into two sessions (morning and afternoon) of which, each session is limited to 300 visitors only. The first session runs from 9am to 1pm, while the second session runs from 1pm to 4:45pm.
4. Bako National Parl
Bako National Park is the smallest national park in Southeast Asia, although small, it is actually the oldest national park found in Sarawak. Due to its age, almost all the plant species around Borneo are found in it, small chilies and rice.

This beautiful garden located on 2.8 hectares of land is divided into two parts, the Malaysian garden and the Chinese garden. In the Malaysian area, you and your family can see the Sarawak Fountain where there is a monument that is a symbol of ethnic diversity in Sarawak, in front of it there are Malaysia Murals that display 14 walls (14 states in Malaysia).
